How does the external assessment test (FSP) in Cologne work?
The exam consists of 3 steps. In step one (LSE 1), German and math are tested. German is tested at B2 level. The basics are tested in the subject of math. Those who pass this exam are admitted to the second exam (LSE 2). All subjects of the preparatory course are tested here at the Abitur level. For students who can provide a C1 language level (TELC, DSH or TestDaF), the German test is not required.
